International Women's Day 2026

60 Up community group gathered to celebrate International Women’s Day at Anerley Town Hall

A group of wonderful women came together for an uplifting time of tea, lunch, conversation, reflection and shared stories. There was laughter, thoughtful moments and a real sense of connection around the tables. It was a gentle reminder of the strength, wisdom and resilience that women carry, often quietly, every single day. Many thanks to Crystal Palace Community Trust for their support.

Visit to St Christopher's Hospice

This February we visited St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham with a group from 60 Up. We were warmly welcomed, shown around the hospice, and learned more about the incredible community and wellbeing work taking place including the SLICE project. We finished off with a lovely lunch. For many of our members, it was eye opening and reassuring to see such a strong focus on dignity, connection and meaningful conversation.
