Launch of Honor Oak Community Centre’s Over 55s Thursday Club

Around 60 people attended the Launch of Honor Oak Community Centre’s Over 55s Thursday Club. 60 Up C.I.C. will be running this project in partnership with the Honor Oak Community Centre Association.

New members  took part in free Tai Chi and yoga exercise classes and found out more about upcoming activities at the Centre. Invaluable advice was given by Lewisham Homes Welfare Benefits staff and Diabetes UK.  Complementary therapies, pampering treatments, gift stalls and food provided by Delicious Most Nutritious all contributed to a lovely day.

Launch Of 60 Up C.I.C.

Up to 200 people attended the launch of 60 Up C.I.C. on Saturday 30th November. The aim of the day was to raise the profile of 60Up, introduce the Enterprise to the local community and to showcase some of the organisations and community groups who provide activities and services for the over 60s in Lewisham. The event was a great success.
